My name is Amaris Manru Xi, and I graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus in Animation. Although my undergraduate studies centered on animation, my creative interests naturally expanded toward game design, which I plan to pursue in graduate school. The pandemic interrupted my academic path and led me to spend half a year studying in my home country, a period during which I explored a wide range of creative directions.

During my freshman and sophomore years, I devoted myself to discovering what truly inspires me, and I soon found my passion in 3D modeling and storytelling. As I continued to search for new ways to convey narrative experiences, I became drawn to the interactive potential of games—across VR, AR, PC, and mobile platforms. I am particularly interested in integrating emerging technologies, such as AI, to create meaningful game projects that speak to society and to specific communities.
